Was ist ein Lager?

Ein Lager ist ein bewegliches Element, das für die Drehbewegung zwischen einem festen Teil und einem drehbaren Teil sorgt. Es gibt mehrere Lagertypen wie Gleit-, Magnet- und Wälzlager. Bei Koyo-Lagern handelt es sich um Wälzlager, die eine lange Lebensdauer aufweisen und die einfach austauschbar und energiesparend sind. Die Wälzkörper dieser Lager sind zwischen den Innen- und Außenringen mit oder ohne Lagerkäfig angeordnet. Durch diesen Aufbau ist während des Betriebs eine gleichmäßige Rollbewegung sichergestellt. Die wichtigsten Vorteile von Wälzlagern sind:

  • egeringe Anlaufreibung
  • Fähigkeit zur Handhabung sowohl radialer als auch axialer Belastungen sowie hoher Drehzahlen
  • einfache Handhabung und Wartung
  • austauschbarer und einfacher Erwerb (dank globaler Normalisierung und Standardisierung)
  • Funktionieren unter extremen Bedingungen (bei sehr hohen und sehr niedrigen Temperaturen)
  • einfache Methoden der Fettschmierung

Bei Lagern handelt es sich um wesentliche Bestandteile aller Maschinentypen und Produkte. Sie sind beispielsweise in Autos, Flugzeugen und Haushaltsgeräten, aber auch in Maschinen zur Verarbeitung von Stahl und Halbleitern zu finden.
