Was ist ein Pendelrollenlager?

Pendelrollenlager weisen eine hohe Belastbarkeit auf und können sich selbst ausrichten. Dieser Lagertyp ist für Anwendungen mit geringen oder mittleren Drehzahlen geeignet, bei denen starke Belastungen oder Stoßbelastungen eine Rolle spielen. Pendelrollenlager sind eine Kombination aus selbsteinstellenden, zweireihigen Radial- und Axiallagern. Sie nutzen eine Pendelrolle oder gewölbte Rolle als Wälzkörper. Der Außenring ist mit einer Rollbahn versehen, die einen bestimmten Versatz der Welle und des Gehäuses zulässt. Pendelrollenlager sind unübertroffen in ihrer Eignung für hohe Belastungen und Unempfindlichkeit gegenüber Schockbelastungen, erlauben aber nur geringe Drehzahlen. Sie funktionieren konstant, auch bei sehr hohen Drehzahlen, anwendungsspezifischen Belastungen und unzureichender Schmierung. Der Käfig eines Pendelrollenlagers weist eine hohe Maßhaltigkeit und Funktionalität auf. Einigen Einschätzungen zufolge haben Pendelrollenlager eine doppelt so lange Lebensdauer wie herkömmliche Lager.
