The next Koyo European Distributor Convention, which normally takes place every two years and which was held for the last time in Sevilla in 2018, will be moved ahead one year to take advantage of the memorable fact that Koyo was founded in 1921, which makes 2021 the 100 year anniversary of Koyo

This glorious year for Koyo, which will be appropriately celebrated globally, will provide an excellent opportunity to organize a special European Distributor Convention, focusing on the long Koyo history and the achievements reached so far. Details of the  100 years Anniversary 2021 Convention, which will most probably be held in the month of May, will be informed in due time.

On February 5-6, 2020, JTEKT will be proud to participate to the Ditzinger’s DITEC fair for the 5th time. JTEKT, representing it’s Koyo bearing brand, will be one of around 60 participants to the DITEC fair, that focusses on MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) requirements for all types of manufacturing industries in Northern Germany and other regions.

At the occasion of EPTDA 2019 Annual Convention, JTEKT Koyo celebrated its 13 year-long strategic partnership and membership with EPTDA – EMEA’s leading executive association of power transmission and motion control, amidst 300+ CEOs and decisions makers of the global industry.

Founded in 1998, EPTDA is the leading executive association for industrial distribution distributors and manufacturers across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, setting the highest commercial, environmental, social and ethical standards. Its mission is to advance distribution and strengthen members to be successful, profitable and competitive in a changing market environment. EPTDA vision is to be the leading community in the EMEA region for industrial distribution, as recognized by customers. EPTDA currently has a membership of more than 250 leading companies – including JTEKT KOYO – across 35 countries worldwide, working with some 313,000 employees and representing over €24 billion in annual revenues.

“Our partnership with a leading organization, like EPTDA, complements our unparalleled legacy of innovation, sustainability, cultural heritage and growth ambitions,” said Dimitri Loutfi, General Manager, JTEKT KOYO Europe. “Being associated with EPTDA and PTDA, gives us an incredible world platform to not only promote our products and services, but to get involved in decisions and trends that impacts the automotive and industrial automation industry as a whole. EPTDA’s core values of Open Dialogue, Mutual Respect, Integrity, Honesty, Fairness, Continuous Growth and Learning, resonate so well with JTKET’s values. The association provides us with an open stage every year to grow our business, better understand the challenges and opportunities of industrial distribution, navigate the technological developments of our industry, access the powerful intelligence and trend analysis tools that measure the pulse of the entire industry and so much more,” added Dimitri Loutfi.

“EPTDA is honored to have industry leading brands and companies like JTEKT KOYO as our members. We are grateful for their support and loyalty, and very honored to recognize them a Silver Member. Two more years, and we will be celebrating a true gold standard together of our partnership,” said Hans Hanegreefs, Executive Vice President of EPTDA. “We would want to particularly honor the company’s commitment to innovative Products & Technologies, supported by a strong will to establish a low-carbon society, a recycling society that lives in harmony with nature, and that is committed to environmental protection. FAQ
