Un palier est composé d’un roulement à billes étanche, pré-lubrifié, et d’un corps de palier qui peut être de différentes formes. Les paliers peuvent s’auto-aligner efficacement grâce à une surface de contact sphérique entre le corps de palier et la bague extérieure du roulement.
