JTEKT Corporation, the Koyo bearing manufacturer, is recognised as the world's largest bearing supplier to the Automotive OE and Components and has been taking major further steps to increase its presence into the Industrial OE and the Aftermarket business by making technological improvements on the standard radial bearing range.
Today we are proud to announce that Koyo will introduce a new Dynamic load rating (1.25 x C). Since the mid 90's Koyo has been testing manufacturing improvements leading to a clearer comparison between actual and calculated bearing life. These achievements reached thanks to improved daily manufacturing processes and also new steel specifications,allow JTEKT to offer today on the market, the longest service life (2X calculated life).

Kraków – Poland’s charming second city, with a fascinating past, covered in beautiful buildings and set besides the Vistula River is a captivating place to travel to. This charismatic city has one of the largest medieval town squares in Europe and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. The 5th edition of the European Distributor Convention took place at this truly beautiful location.
More than 70 participants from 29 countries participated and the entire European JTEKT team provided them a warm welcome in Krakow! The three days schedule was fully packed with business meetings, entertainment and most important it gave all participants the opportunity to get to know more about our JTEKT Koyo family and future direction.

On March 19, 2014, JTEKT CORPORATION (JTEKT) and some of its European sales subsidiaries for bearings were notified by the European Commission (Commission) of its decision finding an infringement of EU competition law. JTEKT has benefited from immunity under the EU leniency notice.

On May 7-8, JTEKT will participate to the Ditzinger’s DITEC fair, for the third time. JTEKT, representing it’s Koyo bearing brand, will be one of around 60 participants to the DITEC fair, that focusses on MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) requirements for all types of manufacturing industries.
CEMAT the largest fair for IntraLogistics systems, is focusing on companies that supply technical systems and services to help other companies and organisations to manage their in-house materials handling requirements.
This year JTEKT will be present with its own booth, representing HPI (hydraulic pumps) and Koyo (bearings), demonstrating its latest products and technologies that serve the IntraLogistics industry sector.

Cylindrical roller bearings have high radial-load capacity and moderate thrust loads.
They contain rollers which are cylindrically-shaped, but are not true cylinders. Instead, these rollers are crowned or end-relieved to reduce stress concentrations. This geometry results in low friction and allows for high-speed applications.
