JTEKT Corporation and the company Nadella Group are starting a strategic partnership allowing the Nadella Group to have the exclusive rights of selling the Nadella Needle Roller bearing Products range to the Industrial Distribution segment, on a worldwide basis. From now on JTEKT Corporation will be a strategic subcontractor and will dedicate its capabilities and resources only to the manufacturing of this product line on behalf of the Nadella Group. Read more

During September 12th - 15th Koyo UK attended and exhibited at Cromwell's 'The Event' held at Donington Park exhibition centre. 'The Event' is held every two years and is solely represented by suppliers to the Cromwell Group in the UK.

Approximately 4000 people attended this year’s event, which for the first time was open to the general public. The majority of those that attend are existing or previous customers of Cromwell and they are invited along with their respective branch and sales representative. Attendees also had the opportunity to experience the thrills of the internationally recognised race circuit, with the choice of driver experiences in several high powered sports cars. Those looking for something a little slower paced but no less exciting could choose the off road experience.

The Koyo stand was situated with the MRO sector of the exhibition and we were the only dedicated bearings supplier at the whole event. Koyo UK, supported by JEB showcased the latest offerings from Koyo (JTEKT) and focused on the new JHS BBU & SRB ranges. Along with this we also held a competition to win 'Red Letter Day' vouchers by guessing how many complete bearings were contained with a glass display case on the stand. The winner will be presented with the vouchers in the near future.

During the course of 'The Event' the Koyo stand was visited by around 400 individuals which has led to around 100 requests for further information. Some of these were very positive and have requested joint visits with the local Cromwell branch & representative. Koyo UK will look to follow these up as quickly as possible.

The show was a great success and will hopefully lead to increased business and improved relations with Cromwell and their customer base.

Koyo, the bearing brand of JTEKT Corporation, is introducing its new range of “JHS-3i” high performance Pillow Blocks.

With a legacy of Quality and Performance, Koyo Ball Bearing Units have been known to be the most reliable products when it comes to accuracy and load resistance. The new generation of JHS-3i Pillow Blocks introduces further enhancements in the performance through improvements in the housing, sealing and the applied grease.

The first improvement is realized in the housing design which now has a flat bottom face which secures a more accurate and firm mounting of the pillow block on the frame, resulting in better rigidity and the elimination of vibrations.

The second improvement is realized through an improved seal design with an inwards facing lip which allows grease to flow back towards the balls and raceway during operation, thereby improving lubrication performance and extending bearing life.

The third improvement is in the newly applied high quality Lithium Complex grease providing several improvements, including a wider allowable temperature and speed range, resistance against water contamination, vibration and high pressure, as well as heavy- & shock loads. To summarize: the Koyo JHS-3i Pillow Blocks provide a better performance and longer bearing life under a variety of high demanding operating conditions.

Bathed in clear sunlight its splendid beaches and sea are magnificent to take a dip in. Ancient treasures, landscapes encompassing vibrant cities and dreamy villages, where locals share their traditions, wonderful cuisine and generous hospitality…. Crete was the venue of our 6th edition of the European Distributor Convention.

These words describe exactly the theme of our 6th edition of the European Distributor Convention for which more than 70 participants from 20 countries attended. It was a pleasure to welcome our valued partners and colleagues at the Amirandes Grecotel Luxury Resort in Crete, Greece and combine business with a bit of holiday feeling.

The business meeting was a great opportunity for us and our partners to exchange ideas, knowledge and information about our future direction. We closed the business meeting with a ceremony where two of our Distributors were awarded for their best sales performance of 2015: Mr. Pawel Kwiecien from PWO, Poland and Mr. Zoltan Kisnemet from Rolling Kft, Hungary. The awards were handed out by our Vice President of JTEKT European Operations Mr. Francis Fortin.
